This romantic studio apartment is situated just off the well known San Trovaso canal. The apartment is down a narrow calle (pedestrian street) about 20m from the canal. It is on the ground floor but high enough not to be in any serious danger of flooding unless the 'acqua alta' is above 1.45m which happens very rarely!
The apartment is about 35 square metres, consisting of a good-sized living space including sofa and dining table with a 'cottura angolo' (kitchen corner) and a screened off sleeping area with a kingsize double bed (1.60m) and wardrobes. The main living area has a sofa bed, so it is possible to sleep up to two additional persons and therefore the apartment might suit a family with two small children, but it is most suitable for one or two persons. We do not recommend two couples unless you really know each other very well indeed! (There is a small extra charge of 5 pounds per person per night for additional persons staying.)
As indicated, the apartment is small and cosy and in a fantastic location in the heart of Dorsoduro close to bars, restaurants and tourist attractions, particularly the Academia, Guggenheim and Punta della Dogana museums which are almost within a stone's throw.
